We had a lovely Veggie box come this morning. The children get very excited - which is surprising as I can't get either of them to eat anything from it!! Noel tried some raw brocolli and he ate a raw mushroom, but April just laughed when I asked her what she would like to try!
Noel felt inspired to take a photo, so here is his handiwork
Noel and April were pretending to be in bed this morning - the towels were their beds with cushions for pillows. Here they are reading a "bedtime" story This is a "sunshine" picture by Noel. We had a lot of fun with the chalks although I'm not sure whether there was more on the patio or on the childrens clothes!!
After a morning outside in the snow, we decided to come in and do some baking. We made an orange cake (which looks pale as its upside down on the rack) and some almond biscuits. We cut up the cake into fingers and drizzled lemon icing over the top, yummy.
The children also enjoyed playing this curious game, which involved walking around the house under a blanket. A bit like a poormans pantomine horse I think!!
While we waited for the snow to stop this morning we made some muffins and fairy cakes to deliver to 2 very good friends who have been really kind to us. Once they were ready and decorated we wrapped up warm and went to deliver them before going in the garden for some snowy fun.
