Family Meal

We went for a lovely family meal tonight to celebrate a good inspection report from the LEA and to celebrate "Grandma Wells" birthday. We all had a great time, the food was delicious and Noel and April were very well behaved. Have a great day on Tuesday! xx

Finally, I have found 5 minutes to put on some photos from Diggerland. Noel had a great time - as did everyone else - and the rain and mud only added to the experience I think!

As Noel is over 5 he was able to operate a lot of the diggers himself, but April sat with Stu so he got join in the fun too. As a lot of the rides and games were quite bouncy I didn't go on many things, but I did enjoy driving a dumper truck around a flat course and having a ride on a road train.

Happy Birthday Noel - 6 today!

Its hard to believe that 6 years have passed since Noel Christopher Robert was born and our world changed completely!

So far he has had a great birthday and he throughly enjoyed opening his presents. Later on we are going to the tearooms for lunch. We're not having a party this time, instead we are going to ... Diggerland!

We are having a party tea later for the children and a slice of this fabulous cake that my friend Nicola made...

Fun baking

Yesterday really did feel like the first day of Spring! Long may it last I say, the fresh air and sunshine were so uplifting. It was lovely to have all the washing blowing on the line and it always smells soooo lovely when it comes in.

We managed some baking yesterday, and after tea the children decorated them.

I just have to show you this special one that Noel did, all by himself, no help at all from me. I have since iced "I love you" at the top at Noels request but this was all his handiwork.

April particularly enjoyed finishing off the left over icing and spilt sprinkles!
